Chris Hodges – Carlyle Group (Non-executive Director)

Chris Hodges is Director at the Carlyle Group focused on buyout and growth capital investments in technology-driven companies across Europe. He is based in London.

Since joining Carlyle in 2002, Mr Hodges has focused on the Aerospace & Defense, Semiconductor and Telecommunications sectors. Prior to Carlyle, Mr. Hodges was an investment executive at 3i plc where he focused on European venture deals in the Telecommunications sector.  Before 3i, Mr. Hodges was a member of PA Consulting Group's Global Technology Practice where he provided due diligence services to the investment community as well as product and process development services to a range of industrial clients.

Mr. Hodges received First Class Honours in physics from Oxford University and a Ph.D. from Cambridge University.  In addition to his board role with ACIS Mr. Hodges is a member of the Board of Directors of The Mill and Cube Optics.
