CARDIFF COUNTY COUNCIL
The Cardiff system, partly funded by the Welsh Assembly, was originally required to improve public transport in and around the city ahead of the opening of the Rugby World Cup held in Cardiff in the summer of 1999.
ACIS has equipped over 250 vehicles, including passenger count information. The system now operates off 6 data-only base stations, has 120 intelligent variable bus priority equipped junctions, Dual language support, All displays have key fob activated audio for the visually impaired in both English and Welsh,

GWYNEDD COUNTY COUNCIL & CONWY COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
In one of the most complex radio coverage programmes implemented by ACIS, five trunked radio base stations were installed in 2001, in and around Gwynedd and Conwy to cover the majority of bus routes, including those based in Snowdonia National Park. The system now has 8 base stations covering remote areas of Snowdonia and Wales, where there is no other possible means of wireless communication.

ISLE OF ANGLESEY COUNTY COUNCIL
In early 2004, ACIS were awarded a contract from the Isle of Anglesey to fit additional Arriva vehicles, on and above the existing fitments with Gwynedd Council, within the Bangor area to cover routes into Anglesey. The extension adds to the existing RTPI system managed by Gwynedd Council.

NEATH PORT TALBOT
Covering over 25 vehicles the ACIS radio base station is located in Swansea, which uniquely, is shared by both the Neath Port Talbot project and Swansea project. There are also 27 bus stop displays.

NEWPORT CITY COUNCIL
ACIS has equipped over 220 vehicles with data and voice communications.
The Newport system comprises of two data and voice base stations as well as a direct connection with the Cardiff system to enable roaming of vehicles in the South Wales region between sites. Three Bus Operators have BusNet Live, Operator Reports and Vehicle Viewer.

CITY & COUNCIL OF SWANSEA
The Swansea system was installed in 2001 and covers three routes with 12 vehicles being tracked at any one time. Swansea shares a base station with Neath Port Talbot, ensuring buses in either area can be tracked at all times and the operator, First Cymru, has the flexibility to move buses from one site to another. A recent order will see the equipment transferred to two high quality Park & Ride services.
