ACIS appoints Phil White as new company Chairman

ACIS, the UK's premier provider of Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) announced today the appointment of Phil White as Chairman.

ACIS leads the market in the provision of RTPI for UK bus operators and authorities. The Group currently tracks over 9,000 vehicles and delivers real time data to over 90,000 information points. ACIS has operations across the UK, Europe and the Middle East as well as currently piloting new business in the USA.  The Carlyle Group, is one of the worlds largest private equity firms with over $75 billion under management.

Formerly CEO of the National Express Group, Phil White is widely recognized as one the most experienced and respected transport industry executives in the UK. The strengthening of the board is in line with ACIS's business plans for continuing to develop and deliver real time information technology for the UK and international markets.
