Get Public Transport Information through your Digital TV with ACIS

ACIS has now made it even easier to access your local public transport information in the comfort of your own home. This new exciting service from ACIS allows passengers to access real-time travel information through the interactive RED button on your television remote.

ACIS has brought this product to you in collaboration with the government organisation, DigiTV that currently feeds its services to 80 local authorities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Our South Yorkshire PTE has been the first organisation to purchase the ACIS RTI Plug-in for this service although other PTEs are looking to follow.

Passengers need to have their Freeview box, Sky Box or Virgin media box plugged into their telephone line in order to get this service, then simply:

* Press the Interactive button on your remote
* Select SKY Active from the menu
* Select Interactive Services
* Select Local Services
* Select Looking Local
* Select Northern England, Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Travel, Public Transport, YourNextBus

Virgin
* Press the Interactive button on your remote
* Select Home and Away
* Select Find It...
* Select Looking Local
* Select Northern England, Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Travel, Public Transport, YourNextBus
