The ACIS solution, known as BusNet offers a number of scalable modules to help Operators improve the quality of service offered for passengers. With the improvements the operator can visibly demonstrate service delivery improvements in public transport. These improvements are not limited to buses only but can apply to trams (HTM) and Railways

What is required is an integrated process to bring the passenger as much readily available information as possible so that they can make the right decision.

It has been demonstrated that 41% of passenger satisfaction is based on punctuality of service.

The solution will provide up to date, live information on the operational status of the fleet. These live reports can then enable service planning and scheduling to be managed in real time.

To augment the live information, our historical statistical reporting package can then be utilised to show the trends in the operations of the vehicle fleet from which timetables can be amended to reflect real world situation. Our Yorkshire client has shown that over a 12% improvement in service punctuality has been achieved.
