Dispatcher Voice

The Voice System improves the safety of drivers and allows the control centre to efficiently manage the deployment of vehicles.

Bus operators have the capability of making voice calls to equipped vehicles across PMR radio buses and soon to be developed for GPRS vehicles. Voice calls allow the bus operators to manage their fleet more efficiently by taking pro-active action when required or prompted by any of our performance reporting tools.

The system allows for emergency voice calls to be made by bus drivers, which take priority over standard voice calls. It also allows for group and individual voice calls.

Two options are available: -

Simple Dispatcher - ideal for smaller operators

Immediate voice calls to buses and from buses

Computer Aided Dispatcher - ideal for larger fleets

Computer logs all voice requests from bus drivers chronologically
Computer sets up voice calls
Emergency calls are given priority
option to record all calls for safety and training purposes
option to make voice calls via a land line/mobile phone for inspectors
