Consultancy
ACIS has always been at the forefront of the philosophy of transport information and ideas. Our Real Time Technology and solutions have been around since 1992 and we have advised many of the UK's Local Authorities, PTEs and House Building Companies on the best ways to implement Real Time Information Systems and Intelligent Transport Systems.
Project Management
Good Project Management is essential in the delivery of any Real Time or ITS scheme. ACIS have invested in the skills of Project Managers from a diverse range of project related disciplines and industries.
This experience has been utilised through continual improvement to create our own Project Management Standard.
The alignment of this standard with PRINCE 2 along with training to PRINCE 2 practitioner enable ACIS to offer a unique service to it's clients which achieves Best Practice in the delivery of project managed services, critical to turnkey systems integration.
Additionally, ACIS have many years of experience in integrating different systems from many different partners and suppliers in order to deliver integrated and diverse solutions in a turnkey fashion.
This experience, aligned with our project management expertise and crucially our software test and validation skills has allowed ACIS to deliver some of the most of the most diverse and complex solutions in the ITS sector.
Installation and Maintenance
ACIS has helped all of its customers to install and maintain their systems over many years and provide a fully comprehensive 24 by 7 mission critical support package with support environments local to our customers.
Our key philosophy is one of local and through life ownership within our local teams. Individuals within the team are assigned personal responsibility for the through life support of any scheme large or small with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established to measure the output performance of the system on behalf of our clients.
The individuals in the local teams a responsible for these KPIs, thus ensuring a personalised service totally owned by the local team.
These local teams are supported throughout the business with operational services providing logistics, spares and returns support, quality control & auditing all managed through a web based support and management infrastructure with sms and e-mail 24/7 alerts for on-call engineers should a critical issue ever arise.
ACIS also have a wide range of sub-contractors and partners, with a mature ACIS Approved scheme enabling partners and sub-contractors to invest in consistent and continually improved training packages prior to delivering any service on our behalf.
